Purchasing my first home was so exciting and so terrifying, I oscillated between knowing exactly what I wanted, to feeling lost in a sea of questions. Purchasing a home or selling a property is a decision that can leave many feeling emotionally charged and confused by the arguments between the head, the heart and the gut. This is why the world of real estate should not be traversed alone, nor with representation that will not put your needs and your best interests first. I see having the support of an agent who will advise you from a place of integrity with the highest standard of care is essential in not only achieving your goals, but in reducing the potential anxieties of any transaction.
That is why my approach to real estate is to listen first and advise second. Working with clients to determine if and when to sell or where to move is a joy and a privilege and that connection is at the heart of it all for me. My aim is to meet you where you are at, to advise you of current practices and trends, and critically, your rights and obligations in any transaction, all while helping you to navigate the potentially choppy waters of real estate. When I am not serving my clients, I am educating myself and fine tuning my skill set so that when challenges present themselves, I already have the solution, the foundation to create the solution, or know where the answers can be found. Indeed, a large part of my job description is to cultivate connections with licensed professionals in all fields that transect real estate, so that when you need a roofer, an appraiser, a lender or even a financial planner, I can introduce you to people who I trust and believe in. It isn’t just children that need a village, we all do. I take my role in sustaining the well-being of my village very seriously.
